West Elgin Kitchen Remodel

This is a traditional space for a busy family!

This newer home was remodeled with the homeowner’s large family in mind. The old kitchen was large yet the builder grade cabinetry was not holding up to the heavy use and the poor layout was not working well for this active household.

To make the space feel bright and spacious we opted to use an off-white paint on the perimeter cabinetry which really pops against the dark tiled floors and neutral wall color. The main focal point is the range area with mantle hood. The mantle hood with a unique mosaic tile behind the range helps define the space and accentuates the pot filler.

The biggest change in this kitchen was in the appliances, which now includes a 60″ fridge/freezer, 48″ range w/ steam oven, 30″ double-ovens, microwave drawer, and two integrated dishwashers.
